The Corgi Steam Rally Collection is a range of detailed die cast Road locomotives, representing some of the greatest Showmans Engines that parade across the Steam Rally scene.
Originally used for timber haulage and threshing, Burrell Works Engine No 3711 was built and purchased in 1916 by S D Melhiish of Chard in Someset. In 1922 No 3711 was purchased by Mr Thomas Whitelegg and converted to a full showmans specification. No 3711 was used with Whitelegg’s Gallopers until 1936 and was then used on his new ride ‘The Loch Ness Monster’.
